As someone completely new to 3D modeling, this project posed quite a learning curve and a bunch of issues. Initially, I struggled to shape my Lego model because I didn’t know my way around the tools. Figuring out how to create circles within the design was another headache, but I eventually got it to look like a Lego piece, even though the circles didn’t pop out as I wanted.
Now, on to the exciting part – 3D modeling has some awesome potential, especially in research and teaching. You can use it to recreate historical sites, sculptures, and art, which makes history and art come alive in a virtual world. Plus, it’s a game-changer for language classes, helping with pronunciation and phonetics in a fun way!
And, for any new users like me, a helpful tip: mastering the hole tool can be a real game-changer, as it was for me during this project.

2 different angles of the lego.
I have the same feeling as yours. 3D modeling is totally new to me, so I am quite under pressure in trying to use it. However, I am happy to see you succeed on manipulating those parameters and buttons and finally creating a lego object. You have a great start and you prove your ability and potentianl in self-learning, which encourages me to explore those modeling things.
