Tuition/Comprehensive Fees and Ethnicity Data at Carleton College (Karla, Jasmine, Julian, Bem, Nathan)

Thank you for listening to our presentation! Here is a link to our slides: A Measurement of Accessibility: Affording Carleton and Enrollment Race/Ethnicity Demographics

Alongside our presentation is a link to our final project website. Our project explored the ethnicity demographics of Carleton College and compared it with comprehensive fees and tuition costs. Since many students of color require FAFSA to afford Carleton, we sought to answer the question: Does Carleton’s affordability limit the accessibility of student of color enrollment? In our website, we provide information on our process collecting and cleaning data, data visualization, findings, and sources. Hope you enjoy and gain insights into the relationship between diversity, affordability, and higher education!
