This project was pretty frustrating especially at the start when I was trying to figure out all the tools. I spent a while trying to center the dots using the measuring tool but there was no good way to mark measurements so eventually I gave up. Trying to figure out how to color it was also especially challenging because I couldn’t figure out how to make individual components different colors. Obviously I also gave up on that as the entire die is just white.
I can see many uses for 3D modeling especially in areas of history or even fiction. This tool could be used to create models of things that don’t exist anymore or fictional objects. It could be a very fun interactive teaching tool.
A couple of tips I would give to a first time user would be to use a mouse if possible and that you can select entire faces and objects to apply tools such as filet to.
