I really enjoyed web mapping the Carleton campus, I thought it was really cool to find the exact coordinates of campus buildings that I frequently visit. When making my map, I made sure to use different symbols for different types of buildings. For example, dorms are denoted by blue stars, classes are yellow circles, and offices are purple squares. I think the customization options for a website like ArcGis provide users with a lot of freedom when crafting their maps, and I am excited to see what people will use this online platform for in the future.

I love how your map turned out! The choice of bright orange, purple, and blue symbols definitely contrasts well with the dark basemap to make the points clearer. I agree with your point about the freedom given by ArcGIS! I think it gives users a lot to work with without too much difficulty.
I like the simplicity of your map! The dark theme with bright icons that highlight each location makes the map easy to digest. I also found it fascinating how inputing a google spreadsheet file automatically found the coordinates on the map (like magic). It makes me wonder what else you can do with google sheets and other data files.
