An outlaw, traitor, infamous bandit of the Midwest. Jesse James was his name, but his 15 years of crime leave much to be explained. With this gap in history came numerous cheap novels, the veracity of which were ambiguous at best, leaving many questions still unanswered. Where did he travel? What places did he actually rob? And did he really go to Mexico to visit the President Porfirio Diaz himself? In our digital humanities project, we will attempt to answer all these questions and more. Enjoy!

I like the idea you have for your project. When clicking through the website I found the interactiveness of the different sections made it much more interesting to explore especially when clicking on the map and being able to click on the dots. The aesthetic of the webpage matches the bandit history that is provided on the website. Good work!
