The georectified map showed major differences in the infrastructure of Mexico City (CDMX) in the early 1900s, which made it difficult to allocate the current location of streets and buildings due to the change in names and land layouts in CDMX. There is a lot of imagery you can’t visualize with 2D maps like the ones on the site; visualizing the 3D layouts of Mexico City from the 1900s versus now could serve as a stronger tool to understand the current map of Mexico City. The development of buildings and transportation has drastically changed from the early 1900s to now; and these maps indicate this change.

A further study of this land and its history could be collecting any relevant policies passed that influenced the change in infrastructure. Along with understanding the historical context between these maps, an understanding of what CDMX was pre-colonial power would strengthen the judgments that can be made from these maps; also adding layers to the mapping and visualization of the area to include the change in population, age groups, and cost of living could help understand the maps better.
