I really liked the approach you took for visualizing this dataset. I also looked at the Moose and Wolf sightings in North America for my midterm project but I took a completely different approach. I am interested in your findings from the map you made because as you discussed, it raises larger questions and thoughts about moose and wolves in certain areas. I wonder if putting the whole dataset in ArcGIS would change the total areas where wolves and moose are located. Specifically, if there would be more moose and wolves in the same area or if they would be spread out. The decision to make the base map and the background color of your text boxes green on WordPress was really engaging with the “theme” (nature) of the dataset. I also liked how you actually showed the image of the animal and not just the link, I definitely wish I did that for my ArcGIS map.
