Great visualization! You made a concise display and representation of your dataset, and your larger point about marketing is immediately clear. As someone who doesn’t know much about the X-Men, I can confirm that the larger the character’s bubble in your visualization, the more likely I am to have heard of them. There are some exceptions though, so I wonder about the cover artists’ target demographic–maybe they’re more interested in fans who really know their stuff…
